I haven't made one, but Aabenhuus on dA said that she styled a Kagamine len wig into the shape she wanted using glue and hairspray to make the base. I agree that this is the most beautiful headress I've seen, but I know many cosplayers who would be wiling to help too. I hope this helps, and that your play goes well. It sounds so cool!
