Theme 4: Fear (Tails Doll)

(Tails Doll POV)

Fear...it warps your mind, making you think of horrid things that aren't really there...making you believe that whatever terrifying thing you saw is something to be afraid of. Fear also loves to lurk about in shadows, watching you, mocking and waiting for the right moment to strike--it waits for that moment to truly make you frightened of the fear that you never knew…

"There," Sonic said as he tucked Tails' in bed, "Night lil bro, see you in the morning." "Okay big brother." Tails smiled as he yawned. "If you need anything just holler okay?" Sonic asked., "I'll be right next door." "Okay Sonic." Tails yawned again as he snuggled his bed sheets.

Fear is the one thing that I do so very well...after all I am the true horror of terrors...I am the one who strikes fear into very fragile and weak hearts...even the bravest ones will coward before me! No one DARES try to mess with me, because if they do, oh they will have nightmares that will forever scare them even after their time has passed. You don't believe me?! Well, I'll give an excellent explanation by making this little fox's fears become true.

      Be ever so quiet, I hovered my way into the blue hedgehog's hut...look at how he sleeps so cutely with his tail wagging and a purr coming from his throat--it sickens me. Anyways, with the dark powers that possessed my heartless soul, I merged into Sonic's mind--his body shook violently as black claws replaced his fleshed fingers, drool dripped from his sharp white fangs while his eyes was a blood-thirsty red, and for the finishing touch, a wire hung out from the top of his head as a red glowing gem took its place. Now time for my horror scheme to go into action! I quietly hovered up to Tails' room door as I began to scare him with a ghostly moan.

"OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo…" "Wh-What was th-that?" Tails gulped. "OoOoOoOoOoOo…" "S-S-Sonic!!" Tails shouted.

      Still staying away from the moonlight, I stood near the shadows...in Tails' point of view, it looked like his actual blue brother was here for him. Too bad he doesn't know what I have turned him into.

"WhAt'S wRoNg LiL bRo?" Sonic slightly hissed. "I-I heard a n-noise." Tails shivered. "I'm SuRe It WaS nOtHiNg TaIlS," Sonic grinned, "JuSt Go BaCk To BeD." "O-Okay," Tails said, "C-Can you sleep with me...I'm scared." "Oh YoU sHoUlD bE…" Sonic smirked. Soon the kitsune shook in such vigorous fear at the sight of Sonic's new form--after all he should be afraid, I am true horror. "S-Sonic? Wh-what happened to y-you?" Tails asked in fear. "Oh I hAvE bEeN eNlIgHtEnEd…" Sonic chuckled evilly, "TrAnSfOrMeD bY tHe DaRkNeSs A sOuL-lEsS bEiNg…" "Wh-What soul-less b-being?" Tails gulped. "ThE sOuL-lEsS bEiNg WaS sO mInD-sCaRrInG aNd So TeRrIfYiNg ThAt It WaS lOcK aWaY fOr AlL oF eTeRnItY," Sonic chuckled, "HoWeVeR, tHaT hOrRiFyInG bEiNg FoUnD a WaY oUt Of ThE eTeRnAl PrIsOn...AnD uSiNg tHe DaRk PoWeRs It HaD, iT eScApEd AnD wAs FrEe  To RoAm AnD sCaRe WhOeVeR iT pLeAsEs…"

      "B-But who w-was this b-being?" Tails asked as he shook. "ThIs BeInG wAs Me!" Tails Doll shouted as he formed out of Sonic's mind and held Tails by his throat. "Ack! L-Lemme go! H-Help!" Tails shivered. "No OnE iS hErE tO sAvE yOu FoOlIsH bOy," Tails Doll grinned, "NoW sTaY sTiLl So I cAn FeEd OfF oF yOuR dElIcIoUs SoUl."

I could smell the aroma of his soul...so pure...so weak...and so full of life and hope...well he won't have any life or hope as soon as I do my part--opening my razor sharp fangs, I was about to consume Tails' soul when a sudden bright light caused me to let go of the kitsune as I screamed in unbearable pain! The light...it burns! It hurts! I hate it! Make it stop!!

"Wh-What?" Tails said as he looked around, "Sonic?" "I-I got ya little bro!" Sonic said as he turned on more lights. "NoOoOoOo!! T-TuRn OfF tHe LiGhT!!" Tails Doll screamed, "ThE bRiGhTnEsS...iT bUrNs!!" "Die you creepy doll!" Sonic shouted as he turned on one final light. "I-I wIlL eAt AlL yOuR sOuLs! I-I cAnNoT bE vAnQuIsHeD! NoOoOoOo!!!" Tails Doll screamed as he disintegrated from the lights' rays.

"I-Is he gone?" Tails asked. Sonic hugged his brother and nodded, "Yes Tails, he's gone." "What's with the noise in here?" Sally asked as she came in, "You two should be sleeping." "Aunt Sally! There was this creepy doll that possessed Sonic!" Tails said, "Then the doll appeared and tried to eat my soul!" "Sonic! What scary story did you tell him this time?" Sally huffed. "I-I didn't tell him any scary story," Sonic said quickly, "That doll did possess me...i-it felt so cold...like on the brink to nothingness." "Geez...you guys look really spooked," Sally said, "Hmm...how about you two come and sleep with me tonight." Sally suggested. "Really Sal?" Sonic said with his tail wagging some. "Thanks Aunt Sally." Tails smiled. While the young hedgehog and the young kitsune followed Sally to her hut, in the shadows of the corner in Tails' hut, a glowing red object was floating about...it could only mean one thing...that I...Tails Doll...is still alive to bring fear into everyone's minds.
