I was at the Bioware Forums and there were discussingabout what species Shade could be.
the choices were:
An Echidna
a Sheep
A Lizard
A Dragon
A Demon
or a Skeleton...thingie o.elll
personally I hope she's either
and Echidna, sheep, or a lizard
in fact heres the forum

cause that would ruin my chances for ...ummm....you tell them

I want that too, is my big goal ^^ I want to work in SEGA, especially in the Sonic Team and, if I can, work making new histories and some music for the games, alon with some other things. I really want to put my character there too... we need some original characters, I'm a little bit tired of hegehogs, echidnas and fox everywhere .-. Is good know that other people want that too

If you read the description, the picture is of Shade before she was revealed UNDER her mask. So the pictures are only of trying to guess what species she was before it was revealed she is an echidna.

Already confirmed. Shade's an Echidna. There are a whole clan of Echidnas still alive, other than Knuckles.

no offence but your characters wouldn\'t be well, official characters, i mean theres nothing much thts unique about them, and their a bit plain

I agree with :devweee-sonikku-XP:. While you have really good artistic talent, some of your characters aren't the most original. Arrow does look like a Blaze edit. Slash looks like a white Sonic with Silver's quills and a vest.
I'm not saying that your characters are bad, but making them look less like recolors will help you a lot in the long run.
