Ah the good old days of brushing. Fun times. It was at an early stage in sig making where everyone could get involved and have fun. way before some groups decided that only professional artists could be part of a forum which inevitably killed the fun of making sigs. They made it too strict, too professional when it was meant to be about fun, it was sigs for crying out loud and if you couldn't make it in to the prestige clubs like Fathom etc then many people gave up. Why bother trying if only the best of the best were the people were getting commented on. They didn't need the comments boosting their ego even more, it was the new comers that needed it. It was what the novices that needed it and could not get because they were locked out of the Fathoms of the art scene so of course without that C&C they couldn't progress at the rate we all did when forums were openΒ to all people at all levels and when you can't get that much needed C&C you don't move on so the "Pros" were in their bubble with nobody else climbing the ladder to take their place when they got bored and moved on in life leaving nobody to fill the gap because the people that could have been filling the gap had been rejected and gave up and thus we had the big death of forum art.
We only had our selves to blame. It was nothing to do with growing up and moving on. It was that the Fathoms were not helping anyone but other pros who didn't need the help and now they are all gone their secrets they didn't want to share because that would stop them being at the top left nobody at all instead. Well congrats. You killed the art scene. I hope it was worth it?

hmm I tried this out but for some reason my bush was all pixely and distorted, not shap like yours

This Tutorial is basicly legedary around graphics comuntys, i remember using this ages ago. It's a great tut.
