Description
The ink has dried
I stare at the words now lying on the page
They float up and create a vivid image of love, hope, triumph and pain

They speak of romance and roses
Of broken hearts and tears
Of soldiers and bombshells
Of desolation and fears

But before another word is read
I shut out these imageries
Former ideas that used to reside in my head
But tonight I can lay them all to rest
On the pages beneath two hard bound covers now lying on my desk

For I am an author but not my own hero
I am a storyteller with no stories of my own.
