i just keep making myself sad.

backstory to this:
both jasp and cori have been told their whole lives to be perfect. cori, to be the perfect and most beautiful gem- to serve her white diamond and be strong. even if she doesnt know who or what she is. cori was never taught emotions or feelings, and her flaws where seen as weakness. so she was forced to cover them up. when she was created, white diamond did all she could to fix her- and cori was left feeling. empty.

jasper was told she was the best her whole life, she was the shining stone among all the quartzes. she was the 'all powerful jasper' but when she found out she wasnt as strong as she thought her world was broken in to, she became self-hating. constantly telling herself she was weak, and the only way she saw that she could be stonger was fusion. but she hated fusion, so she became a self loathing angry gem with one goal: strength.
when she realized she couldnt get stronger, that she wasnt perfect. she was corrupted by dark thoughts.

togeather they from crocodile jasper, a flawed gem with strange skin markings and four arms. but, together they are strong, brave, and loyal. it doesnt matter that they are not perfect. each gem has their flaws, but together they are a shining star.
