Part IV!
This was actually the first piece I worked on of the series. I was just experimenting with layers (you probably can't tell but there is about three different shades of blue and gray used on the background. It is much more distinct in real-life). In my original design of this one, I imagined having Kabu-kun standing in front of a mountainscape or the Hidden Sound Village but neither idea made it to the paper. I was afraid that by adding a background it would take away from the overall mood of the picture (I really wanted to produce a sense of loneliness or detachment.) In the end I went with the quote because I felt it complimented Kabu-kun's nature.

And that will just about do it for the picture. Sorry for rambling!

Really neat style of colouring, I like it. Did you use watercolours?

It's an awesome effect, however you did it. I don't usually use my Copics to colour large areas, so I've never experimented with anything like that.

Nope, I use prisma markers these days.
