Description

Arcticovelitauroidea is a clade of herbivorous creatures among the Vekian megafauna.

They are massive and when they reach adulthood they become solitary, no longer depending on the juvenile herd to defend themselves from predators. Their tusks are equipped with dissuasive spikes.

They have a black thermoregulatory sail on their back that is designed to absord heat. This sail is retractable and, when its too cold or when the windchill is to great, can be store inside the back bump. Some species of this clade will show luminescent patterns but these are not very common.

They are peaceful animals and they can truly be called gentle giants.
