Bat-Dos is a computerized encyclopedia containing an ever-growing database, called "Batabase". The Batabase mostly regroups information about Rooms and Specimens, among other subjects.

Although Bat-Dos computers look like futuristic devices, everything shown within their screens have an 8-bit design. The background is black, and everything else orange. The Bat-Dos' logo is a big-eyed bat, with pointed ears and a smile with tiny fangs. It is simply known as "The Bat".

Fun facts :
1. Bat-Dos' prototype was purple and black-colored. Later it changed to orange and black, to look more Halloween-themed
2. Bat-Dos' motto is "Our mission, your information"
3. The Bat's voice is both a nod to GLaDOS from Portal and Monita from Nintendo Land
4. The Batabase was certified 100% glitch-free, until a fatal error from an unknown origin occurs the 31th of August 2015, between 9 and 10 pm.
