- The novabra is the so far the only remaining horse species remaining in the Megalocenic Earth; ever since the humans left the Earth, a small population of its ancestors, the onager, have migrated east to North America, due to the onager population considered stable.
- Not only the novabra fills the niche of zebras, but the coat of this equid resembles the now-extinct Quagga, except the stripes are shown on its half of the back and rear instead of the head, which is equivalent to that of the modern-day okapi.
