Description The Desert View Watchtower (1932) is one of several buildings at Grand Canyon designed by Mary Colter, architect for the Santa Fe Railroad. View murals by Hopi painter Fred Kabotie and climb the 85 steps up to the observation deck for a 360 degree view.

It's very different and so nice.

I am the same too - I love to see things like that. I also love Victorian and other eras too, but anything with character and style to it - older the better.

Victorian is so beautiful, because it's got a lot of intricate detail and decoration to it.

I look forward to all your photo's when you return - I know I will miss your company on here a lot. So happy for you to have that break though.
