Random fox I drew on the back of a notebook in church, and colored today during class. Ignore the funky hand thing on the side...that's just boredom from German class seeping through...This'll probably be scrapped later due to the not-so-great quality, but expect more cartoony lineart like this as it's fairly fun and easy to get away with during class.

I think it's pretty. Simplistic in detail, beautifully coloured and a nice touch how it fades in the bottom. Matches the hand perfrctly. It's like the hand that draws, vague lines on the drab colour of the back a notebook, representing the every day life.
In stead the pretty colouring and the invitingly friendly face of the fox is the result of projecting that creative spark onto reality for others to enjoy!

Going through thumbnails on different groups I sorta react on pictures I like very quick.
If they're newley posted I mostly give just a short comment that I like it, or som part of it I like in particular.
If the piece has been posted several years ago and I go faving it, and thus commenting on it, I feel somewhat obligated to make something of it, so I sit back and think: "WHY do you like this piece? WHAT ticks da pleasure dome here?"
Then I come up with something like that. Putting into words the feelings and impressions that made me fall for the piece in the first place.
I must say sometimes re-reading my posts is an experience much like this piece

I tried coloring the hand, but it's for the best that it just stay on the back of my math notebook, hidden from the world...my skincolor is so hard to get right...

History's alright, but my teacher has a tiny bit of a rambling problem, so it gets pretty dull at times. German is by far the worst because I swear that the second hand on the clock slows down during those two hours. So boring...and I'm not even near a window...

Perhaps that was my problem... Rambling teacher... I only took one year of history, it was compulsory for that year!! The teacher was obsessed with Ireland and the whole IRA thing, so he spent 2/3 of the year teaching us that and only 1/3 teaching us the other 2 topics we needed for our exams. (We were supposed to be able to sit down in the exam and chose 3 essays from 6, but we were only taught the 3.) I think that's what annoyed me about my teachers... They were'nt teaching what we needed to know, but what they felt like teaching... *grrrrr*

I had that sort of problem with an english teacher last year (though there were many other things that she did to jerk my chain). First year I've ever dropped out of a class.

Damn, we weren't allowed to drop out... Unfortunately in New Zealand, school is school and you're breaking the law if you don't go until you're 16 and you've gotta do what they tell you... To tell the truth, I love learning, but just not their way!!! I was given the option to change class one year, but managed to let the teacher talk me round to not doing it, and I regretted it ever since... I was going to go from my least fav teacher, to my most fav teacher... Gave up the chance and my poor fav teacher left at the end of that year, and died not long after that... I was crushed!

That sucks royally. Here you can drop any class you want, but you get a withdrawl failure (big fat F on your GPA) unless you sign up for another class of equal credit value.

Damn! Sounds like a much better system!! Of course I probably would have dropped out and taken up the whole spectrum by the end of the year!!
I did have the luxury of not being such a good girl as to attend all the classes they made me take. There was always work going in the library or the music teacher to help out!!

That was what I used to do in German class.
Had a putrid day - boiling, and I had to do exams in a plastic dress in a small hot room.

'Twasn't fun.
As we are ending the school year we are entering the "unnecessary period", when you're just at school for administration purposes. We have a mass and other crud next week but this week we have nothing except a few stupid tests. I think I get my first aid certificate soon, and I got the highest mark in Art class, which is always good.
I did pop art.
