Tried out a more aggressive color pallet and a flatter, more line-heavy style than what I'm used to doing. Probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it was fun to make!! I'm currently recovering from some kind of lung disease, so I wanted to draw Ninten with his inhaler since I totally feel his pain. Thank you!! And I agree, I think it's because the 1st Mother game didn't age well unfortunately. When I played it I needed a walkthrough to know where to go next, at least in the beginning, and even then I got stuck often. Most early games didn't know how to lead players yet though, so I certainly give it a pass. The game is really charming once you get into it!
