Clairvoyant feelings in their minds lead their souls to one another. The Sheriff was turning the corner of where he was tracking the outlaw, but was astonished when the silence hid the runaway so cleverly that she managed to ambush him from behind. The outlaw was obviously much more confident than he was, since she pressed her body against his back and rested her head over his shoulder while he simply tensed with his hazel eyes broadened.

“Tell me who’s caught who now, cowboy?” she whispered in his ear.

Her tone of voice and light breath against his skin didn’t help calm his nerves. He then felt helpless and didn’t know what to do. He knew he could get out of this by reaching for his Navy Colt Revolver nestled patiently within his holster, but he didn’t want to do it. He knew her - too well. But for this one overwrought moment, there was no alternative.

As he slowly reached for the revolver, he felt a hand softly stroke his arm to his own.

“You don’t really want to do that, do you Woody?” She smirked; she’s got him now.

He was struck with realisation. The Sheriff seemed to deflate as he sighed. Of course he didn’t really want to do it. He knew he could only accept his weakness as his defeat and he looked to the corner of his eye to wait for her to make the next move. While he did so, she slid her other hand to his and intertwined their fingers. Her skin was cold despite the hot summers of the Old West, and when she met his warmth and felt his body shiver against her, the confidence she once felt arrogantly abandoned her. Something about his shiver told her that he was frightened, probably about what was going to happen to him, and somehow that replaced her lost confidence with grief. She didn’t want feelings between them to happen this way, and suddenly the outlaw didn’t know what to do either once she gently inhaled his scent…

UPDATE: I did not feel satisfied with my previous canvas shape or scale, so I played around with it As you can probably see, I re-did the background, making a few alterations, and made it bigger so you can explore around the pic. Unfortunately there are no hidden mickeys It was originally quite large, but I had shrunk it down. Not good enough for me!

This is an idea I've had for a while now

I've always wanted to draw Woody and Jessie in different outfits, so I went scouting around the web for inspiration and found probable clothing I could just see them in. Jessie's was harder though, I mixed up a few fashions I saw for hers. And I think the end result made me want it!
