A sketch using an Aquarelle pencil and water brush. Image references Fairburn Figures stock from the early seventies. I enjoyed how 'of it's time' the source image is.Edit: Didn't realise how washed out the first scan was until I viewed it on another computer. This is more like the real image.

You've came a long way bud. This has a really nice feel to it reminiscent of those things I used to look and learn from when I was a kid, (I think they were called books?).

I like the softness that the medium has enhanced. Was the original model as adorable as this? I wouldn't get much housework done with her cleaning, as at the very least I'd be staring rapt at her instead of doing my share!

The original model was very pretty. To be honest I didn't deviate much from the original stock for that reason!

Very nicely done.
The shadowing and the folds in the cloth look just right and the lightness of the Pencil strokes gives it an almost vintage, aged feel.
