I had great fun coloring this one. I chose to use a different light source that what I would usually use, and played with some effects for Havok's '
ulse' power thingy. (Can't remember what it's called right now)Anyway...

That's a wicked looking image of Havok. I've never been much of a fan of him myself.
I always felt he was kind of a prick for stealing two of Iceman's lovers in a row. Least Iceman got to sleep with Mystique.

That's true. Just shoo him off with a stick if your girlfriend is around.
I think things when like Iceman was with Lorna, but Havok stole her. They were going to marry, but he dumped her at the wedding. Only to steal Iceman's current girlfriend. He broke up with her and got back with Lorna, just as her and Iceman were getting back together.
After all this Iceman was dating a human girl, but she dumped him. She couldn't handle the superhero lifestyle. Though what's going on with him and Mystique right now is pretty wild. Weird thing is. I think Mystique might really love him.

MILF! LOL! I don't know yet about the whole Iceman - Mystique thing. I haven't read comics in ages. Here in South Africa, getting ahold of comics is soooo difficult. When you do find aplace to buy they're hectically overpriced - about R70 which is about 10 Dollars US. I usually order over the net, but lately my necessary expenses out number my bank account.

Well, Mystique has revealed that she is well over 100 years old, possibly more. Like Wolverine, her mutant powers makes her almost immortal to time.
It sort of started in "X-Men: Supernovas" (X-Men 188-199). They have sex in "X-Men: Blinded by the Light" (X-Men 200-203).
The inker who worked on these books is a dA member.
First she gives him CPR while he tries to pull his body back from being evaporated into steam.

They start to bond and become closer. She kisses him for luck before he shields them form this giant explosion coming their way.

Later, Iceman and Mystique have sex, but it turns out that joining the X-Men was part of an ambush to get Rogue, amongst other things. Mystique had slipped a neural inhibitor, from Sinister, into her lip stick and 'other places', she says. This prevented Iceman from using his powers in the fight. She does tell him that she can't remember when she last enjoyed an ambush more.
Months later, after this whole story Iceman is still having problems with his powers. He's heading to see Beast when Mystique shows up and keeps attacking him in all kinds of crazy ways, but she never finishes him off. In the end of this short story about the two of them his powers are working again. If anything he's stronger then he ever was. She had been pushing him to use his powers the whole time to repair what she had done to him. Just in her psycho way. On top of the Golden Gate Bridge she tells him that she will come to him again, not with her face and body; but promises that he will love her. She decks him and jumps off the bridge into the river. She's been 'missing' since.
