Good evening/morning, minnasan~Today, I am presenting you with my rendition of this adorable OC as my half of an arttrade with the lovely And I mean adorable... I was seriously fangirling most of the time I was drawing him (and I actually dislike fangirling haha). Thank you for doing another trade with me, dear!!
His coat took an extremely long time to blend to get just the right colour out of it; I don't think I had a Prismacolor in the perfect colour. I had to use a reference for the hand that holds the bubble tea, but I tried only to take inspiration from it rather than actually copying it. I also had to use paint to edit out a smudge below his left eye (which is why it might look a little unblended there). I'm also really starting to wish I had a good phone to take pictures of my coloured draws...But all in all, I like how Mari-kun turned out~

Those sprinkles and colourful dots(don't know what to really call them) in the background make your art looks interesting & quite lively in my opinion.

I really love doing the backgrounds like that, you should try it! Though the forms of your style are a bit more elegant than mine, and I feel mine is a bit more cute, so you might have to modify it a little. I'd love to see coloured backgrounds in your drawings, though! ^^
