Description As "gruesome" (quote taken directly from father) as this image may seem- it's meaning is not gruesome at all.

As we all know life is not like a bed of roses (as it states in a fairly amazing song by Mindless Self Indulgence) and there is some rough patches. But in these rough patches there always comes something good even if it is only for a moment in time.

This image represents the love of my daughter from and to her and what love has come out of her in her short time here.
The life represented by the veins and death represented by the skull.
The orange as we all know is a fruit, and she is my fruit and I just choose to represent her as an orange. Because oranges can be sweet and bitter but always vibrant.

As you might have all guest I miss my daughter terribly- and as my dad might have pointed out life can be gruesome at times. The thing is though is that it can also be amazing at times even in the darkest of things.

Also- this is a rough draft for the painting I'm going to do.

Thank you, I still do have my really dark and depressed days but they come in waves just like what grieving does. Those very few minutes I was with her were very special. Even when she died I still loved to hold her and keep her close. And I know there are people who have had it worse then me and have came out better. I know fer certain that death is not the end. I like that fact a lot! It's just I wish I could have kept her with me.

It is very lovely and so very touching. Your daughter has left you with something very beautiful to share with the world and it warms my heart to see such tender inspiration and personal strength and growth in the face of adversity. You, my dear, have an experience that could have embittered you and wrought cynicism in your daily life but you are able to recognize the significance of your tragedy and see it as the gift of unconditional love that it is. Those moments with your daughter are a treasure for a lifetime. It gives hope to others that have loved and lost that the love is not gone. I praise you for your insight and wisdom beyond your years in turning what might have been debilitating heartache into a thing of such pure, ethereal beauty. It is individuals like you that remind us how petty it is to complain about the mundane inconveniences in life and to appreciate how much we are blessed. Death is a sacred part of life and I think you are one of the few who grasp this. It does not mean the end. Only insofar as you let it. Thank you for sharing such a precious part of your soul, dear one.
