Description First off MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This design was inspired off of the Father Christmas from the Chronicles of Narnia.

Father Christmas typified the spirit of good cheer at Christmas, but was neither a gift bringer nor particularly associated with children. The pre-modern representations of the gift-giver from church history, namely Saint Nicholas, (Sinterklaas), and folklore merged with the English, and later British Isles, character Father Christmas to create the character known to Americans as Santa Claus.

From my understanding, gift giving got its start from a bishop named Nicholas giving a family enough money so the father didn't sell his daughters into slavery.

How he became associated with Christmas, I don't know.

I like the one that brings present. Forget this peaceful cheeryness... GO AMERICAN GREED! (oh, and good job on the white trim.)

You actually get presents from him? Either I have been naughty or you are hallucinating lol. People can be focused on greed indeed, but it is not limited to America for sure. Ho-ho-ho
