Speeding

UGHHH this album is so good, I can't stop drawing pictures for it ;3;
Lights always makes these wonderful songs that, albeit quite cryptic, capture a lot of things I just... mentally and emotionally understand and feel myself sometimes.
I mean.. that's something that I noticed back in 2009, when I discovered her..but it's still true to this day.

Speeding isn't a song that connects to me directly, BUT I do understand the logic behind it. Being heartbroken and going so fast in a car that you just.. feel like you're flying and all your issues are behind you, because you know things'll get better in time.

Uh.. idk I just kinda drew what came to me. The pose and everything was inspired by a photography series by William Howard..specifically, this photo. I wanted high contrast and stark lines and colors.. kind of... Fast and Furious-ish in color.. hopefully it doesn't look bad xD Cars are hard. Weird perspective is harder. Cars and weird perspective are the devil.
The city and its lights aren't as well rendered as I would like them to be, but I lost my patience, so it'll have to do >> Honestly I'm confused on this piece.. I tried some random, strange things and Idk how well it all works...
