My contribution to the first day of Hunk Week uwuI plan to participate for any day I get ideas for. Two of the days I lumped together and made a playlist for ouob
Anyway, I know I haven't drawn it much, but I actually like the idea that Hunk has tattoos that just are covered by his shirt and vest. As a related note, I also headcannon him as part Native Hawaiian and Japanese-Filipino uwu
This is what I envision his room might look like, pre-Voltron. Maybe even pre-Garrison. He'd probably have way more stuff, but I honestly am a dunce when it comes to thinking up things to "clutter" up a space in a drawing.... I can never think of things people have in their rooms xDDD But I feel like he's probably a pretty neat and tidy kinda guy anyway.
It's also great practice with my fat guy skills drawing him so much and in so many poses. xD Still working on accurately draw fat in the chest and lovehandle areas, but it's not bad.

Well, its practically canon that he's at least Hawaiian, so have fun with that headcanon! The part Japanese-Filipino is an interesting twist to it.
Also, I love this pic for his tattoos and for that poster that nearly killed me laughing, lol.

Haha yeah xD my thought process for that was a liiittle convoluted, but basically, I figured it would be cool if he were mixed (plus there aren't many Filipino characters in cartoons). A lot of Filipino people have either Chinese ancestry or Japanese ancestry. I know a lot of Filipino people who live in the US, live in Hawaii because it's close and familiar, environment-wise. So it wouldn't be too unlikely for him to be half Japanese-Filipino along with Native Hawaiian xD
And thank you! I just really like this idea that he's got a lot more going on underneath the surface : P I actually learned a lot about the tattoos and the meanings of the flowers when I was designing his tattoos!
And lol I actually just googled "engineering t shirts" and I saw a design like that and based the poster off of it ^^
