It really was quite simple. The moment that they had stepped out of the car, Mrs. Tremaine, Ana and Driz had taken an immediate dislike to Ella. Ella, with her rosy cheeks and button nose, those big innocent blue eyes, her too straight teeth and her perfectly coiffed hair, her sparkly little flats encasing dainty little feet, and her perfectly pressed and dry-cleaned dress (probably bought just for this occasion).

Ella was just too perfect, the complete opposite of the twins, with their hair that just did not want to cooperate, no matter how much hair spray or gel was used, and their noses that were maybe a little to big and their smiles that just weren't as charming, and their feet that looked more like boats than actual feet. Yes, the Tremaine girls' decided right then and there that Ella would not be their friend, and they would not consider her a real sister, because who could ever compete with someone like her. Mother had always told them that looks and high-status were the most important things in life.

Besides that, Ella was probably stuck up and whiny, and those shiny bright eyes were probably just a cover, used to get whatever she wanted. She was probably spoiled and probably knew how to wind everyone around her delicate little pinkie finger. When Ella spoke though, it was with the most sweet and innocent voice, not "fake sweet" either, but real, honest, sweet. She was just so endearing, and kind. It made Driz sick to her stomach, and more than caused Ana to be repulsed.

How could a little girl, maybe their age or maybe one year their junior be so polite, so pretty and not spoiled at all, how could she be such a perfect little girl? It was at that point that Driz and Ana, being the conniving and scheming little girls they were, began to plan. Ella had big problems coming to her, and she didn't even know it.
