So here's my first effort to do one of the pinups in oils on canvas. It's been an interesting experiment.
I present to you Dr. missus the monarch. (inspired by Elvgren of course.) the photo doesn't quite look as nice as the real deal
I will try to have prints shortly. I just don't know if I can use my iphone to get decent enough photos to make prints from. Open to suggestions. Also taking suggestion for sealing the painting so it's less likely to be damaged.
