Another tutle photo...this time of the other end. This particular turtle was napping on the beach. One thing about this photo that does bother be a bit is the lack of symmetry. I was hoping to center the shell in the photo, which I did when I shot the image. Unfortunatly, the turtle's flippers were not positioned at the same angle from the body...that created an asymmetry that caused problems when framing this piece for display. Despite that, this photo really portrays a unique view of a beautiful animal.

i think the slight off balance of the flippers makes it more... "real" feeling. i like this shot, it's unique.

The turtle is my favourite animal, and this is an excellent representation.
It actually makes me think that turtles are slow, just in the way you took this picture!
Good contrast and lighting...the colors are also very nice! Excellent!!!

I really like turtles as well. This one wasn't all that slow but he wasn't fast either.

I miss it as well. I spend a lot of time there when I was growing up...so as a resident, some as vacation. There will always be a spot in my heart for that place!
