-Unlocked the true power of the Monado, and struck down Metal Face with it

Strength/Attack Potency
-Stabbed Metal Face straight through the head
-Strong enough to destroy Mechon the size of buildings
-After unlocking the Monado II, gained the same power the Bionis' original Monado had, which could slay the Mechonis
-Shulk also fought Yaldabaoth in the Mechonis Core, who was directly powered by and controlling the Mechonis
-With the Monado II, was able to easily sever Metal Face's limbs
-With the Replica Monado, staggered and dealt damage to Zanza's true form
-With the True Monado, overpowered Zanza's own Monados and killed him
-Recreated the universe with both his own Monado, as well as Zanza and Meyneth's

Durability

ABILITIES
Visions
-Visions of the future obtained by using the Monado
-Allows him to see the outcome of an event long in advance, and plan accordingly based on it
-Can be used in combat to witness a fatal blow from the opponent, giving the time Shulk needs to counter it
-Can also be used to learn of the importance of an item that was just collected for future use
-Despite losing the ability to use visions after Zanza's awakening, could still predict his opponent's attacks like he still had them
-When Shulk fought Zanza, he was able to effectively use visions despite no longer wielding the Monado
-Lacks visions in Future Connected since he no longer has a connection to Alvis
Skill Trees
-Sets of linked upgrades that allow Shulk to increase his abilities
-Skills are unlocked gradually while using one particular Skill Tree
-Can only utilize one Skill Tree's benefits at a time
-Integrity is Shulk's default Skill Tree, which gradually increases his block rate the more skills he has
-Medium Equipment lets him equip medium weight armor
-Secret of Life lets him heal 10% more health to a revived party member

-The strongest set of armor based on his primary design
-The Sky Cap increases his Physical Defence by 46, and Ether Defence by 42
-The Sky Top increases Physical Defence by 66, and Ether Defence by 100
-The Sky Gloves increase his Physical Defence by 32, and Ether Defence by 43
-The Sky Bottoms increase Physical Defence by 55, and Ether Defence by 60
-The Sky Shoes increase Physical Defence by 46, and Ether Defence by 43
-The entire set is part of the lightweight armor type, and every piece of it has a single slot for gems each
Gems
-Equippable items that can be attached to gear and weapons
-Can be crafted by using minerals from mining spots or items left behind by enemies
-Range from I to V in terms of effectiveness, with the most effective being the hardest to craft or find
-Strength Up, Agility Up, Ether Up, Muscle Up, Ether Def Up, HP Up, and Critical Up all increase their inherent ability
-Gems such as Spike Defence and Topple Protect resist effects of specific attacks, and can negate them with good combinations
-Gems like Blaze Attack and Bleed Attack give a chance of auto-attacking adding an extra damaging element
-Meanwhile, Gems like Blaze Plus and Bleed Plus increase the damage of said elements
-Gems like Ether Def Down can decrease the defenses of enemies hit by auto-attacks
-Gems can also be used to increase or decrease the aggro a character earns by attacking
-Debuff Resist is especially helpful against a variety of abilities, from freezing, poison, and instant death
-Spike gems deal damage to the opponent whenever Shulk is hit, and Spike Resist reduces damages from vice-versa
The Monado
-A mythical sword created by Zanza prior to the game's events
-Originally used by Dunban to win the Battle of Sword Valley, before he was overwhelmed by it's power
-Allows Shulk to see visions of the future when fighting, and is how seers like Alvis recieved their gifts
-Are able to cut through Mechon with ease, when most other weapons can't dent them
-In it's original state, cannot harm the people of the Bionis, including Homs and the High Entia
-Because of this, Faced Mechon are also unable to be damaged by it, as they are piloted and directly linked to Homs
-Though, any other creature from the Bionis is capable to be slain by the sword
-Has two slots for placing gems
Monado II
-The true form of the Bionis' Monado, awakened after Zanza unleashed it's full potential
-The Monado used by the Bionis during it's duel with the Mechonis
-Far increased in terms of power compared to the original Monado
-The beam of the blade extends far greater than the original's did
-Can harm any creature from the Bionis, letting it hurt Faced Mechon at any time
-Also allows Monado Enchant to work on Faced Mechon
-Has three slots for placing gems
Replica Monado
-A replica of the Monado given to Shulk after Zanza took the Monado II
-Created by Miqol using the Machina's technology
-Recreated the ability to use Monado Arts, but it's weaker than the Monado II and can't give Shulk visions
-Though, Shulk had gotten to a point where he didn't need visions anyways
-Has three slots for gems
Monado Rudra
-The first of the alternate Replica Monados
-The most stable and consistent of the Replica Monados, sacrificing a higher critical hit rate for a higher minimum damage
-Has three slots for gems
Monado Agni
-The second of the alternate Replica Monados
-Prioritizes defense over offense, increasing Shulk's block-rate while having low consistency for damage
-Has three slots for gems
Monado Abyss
-The third of the alternate Replica Monados
-Prioritizes high damage output over anything else, giving a very high max attack with a mixed overall attack
-Has three slots for gems
Monado Dogma
-The fourth of the alternate Replica Monados
-Prioritizes critical hits, giving 15% more than the default while giving less defense to compensate
-Has two slots for gems
Monado Saga
-The fifth of the alternate Replica Monados
-Heavily prioritizes defense, giving remarkably high defensive capabilities while crippling attack power
-Has two slots for gems
Monado III
-Also known as the True Monado and Shulk's Monado
-The sword Shulk creates during the final battle with Zanza
-The strongest weapon in the game, capable of reaching a 100% critical-hit rate when used in tandem with Bravery
-Powerful enough to overpower both of Zanza's Monados, and slay the god himself
-With the other two Monados, was used to recreate the universe to make a world with no gods
-Has three slots for placing gems
Monado Replica EX+
-The upgraded version of Shulk's weapon during Future Connected
-A version of the Replica Monado with increased power, defence, critical rate, and block rate
-Has the ability to harm the Fog King despite lacking a physical body, and can allow others to do the same
-Has three slots for gems
BATTLE ARTS
Back Slash
-A physical attack where Shulk leaps into the air before slashing downwards
-If Shulk is facing the back of the opponent, hitting them will double the damage and add 20% to the Party Gauge
Light Heal
-A healing ability that gives a small portion of health to whoever it's used on
-Shulk can heal any of his teammates with it, or use it on himself if he needs to
Slit Edge
-Shulk pushes the Monado directly in front of him before stabbing the opponent with the beam of light
-If used when facing an opponent's side, decreases their defense by 50%
Stream Edge
-Shulk moves the Monado backwards before swinging it towards his opponent
-If the opponent is facing Shulk, they will be inflicted by Break
Shadow Eye
-Shulk crouches down and decreases the aggro currently directed at him
-Also increases the strength of Physical Arts for five seconds after use
Air Slash
-Shulk jumps into the air and swings his sword to the sky right before touching the ground
-Capable of inflicting Break on most enemies
-If used on the side of an opponent, inflicts Slow, which decreases halves their movement speed
Shaker Edge
-Shulk spins around with his sword, before dropping it down and striking the opponent
-Inflicts Daze on an enemy already suffering Topple
-If used on a Toppled opponent after a vision, breaks their Vision Tag
Battle Soul
-Reduces Shulk's health by half to fill the Talent Gauge
-A secondary method of increasing the Talent Gauge if Shulk can't hit his opponent
MONADO ARTS
-Shulk's Talent Art, which is a signature art with a completely unique use for every character
-When activated, allows Shulk to use any of the Arts exclusive to the Monado
-After activating an art, has to recharge the Talent Gauge by auto-attacking opponents, or by using Battle Soul
Monado Enchant
-One of the first two Monado Arts unlocked
-Surrounds the party with a purple glow, which allows them to harm Mechon forces
-Also allows them to harm similar beings to the Mechon, such as the Machina
-With the Monado II, lets Shulk's party harm Faced Mechon
-Uses up half of the Talent Gauge to access
Monado Buster
-One of the first two Monado Arts unlocked
-Extends the sword's beam to a great length, before Shulk swings the sword at full power
-When used by the Monado II, the blade's beam is increased far greater than the original's
-Deals double the damage if used against Mechon, or similar beings like Machina
-Uses all of the Talent Gauge
Monado Shield
-The first of the Monado Arts to unlock after Shulk wielded the Monado
-Shields the entire party from an opponent's Talent Art, reducing all the damage down to simply 1
-If the attack hits multiple times, it will do 1 damage for every hit of the attack
-Cannot be used to defend against Physical or Aether Arts
-Only drains half the Talent Gauge, as opposed to all of it
Monado Speed
-Shulk surrounds a single party member in an aura of blue light, increasing their agility immensely
-Allows the party member to dodge nearly any physical attack that comes there way without the threat of taking damage
-Cannot defend against Talent Arts, nor can they dodge Ether Arts
-Drains 75% of the Talent Gauge
Monado Purge
-Shulk sends a wave of energy out from the Monado, disrupting any aura his opponent might have
-Able to disrupt the telepathy of the Telethia
-Able to remove Spike damage from an opponent if they had it
-Uses 75% of the Talent Gauge instead of all of it
Monado Cyclone
-Shulk creates an area of effect around him, doing significant damage and toppling any opponents near him
-Topples any opponents affected by Break
-Shulk's second strongest attack besides Monado Buster
-Uses the entire Talent Gauge
Monado Eater
-An optional Monado Art Shulk can acquire
-Damages the enemy in front of Shulk while also removing any and all buffs to their stats
-Also has a 20% chance of inflicting Bleed after being used
-Uses 75% of the Talent Gauge
Monado Armour
-An optional Monado Art Shulk can acquire
-Surrounds the entire party in an Ether barrier that halves all physical and Ether based damage
-Cannot be used to defend against Talent Arts
-Uses all of the Talent Gauge when used
WEAKNESSES
-Often hesitates before killing, though his fights with the likes of Dickson and Zanza shows he's willing to cross that line
-All Arts require a cooldown before they can be used again
-Not the toughest or most agile, which often makes getting aggro'd practically a death sentence
