Love love the black on white, very striking. But I'm curious, how did you get the ink to stay on the tee? I ask because I spilt india ink on my white shirt today, but managed to get it out with tide to go (thank god!)

Ah yeah, thanks. I think I managed to get it out because as soon as I spilt it I ran to the bathroom and soaked it with water, which didn't work, then uses those little laundry detergent pens, which works like a charm. I think it's probably the drying time, of course, I'm using cheap cheap ink, too, because I use it in so many of my classes and go through it so fast. I feel for your carpet though.

Wow, it's simple, but great... I'd buy that.
And it's good to know that indian ink can be used for shirts as well.

I wonder if Japanese ink would work as well cos I brought a big bottle of it back from Japan and have yet to use it

lol well I bought a bottle of 'non-waterproof' ink which turned out to be very indelible - I spilt almost a whole bottle on my carpet, my t-shirt and skirt when I knocked it off my desk and it hasn't come out of my t-shirt after several washes (although much scrubbing, soap, water, elbow grease and Flash Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner eventually rendered the carpet almost normal), so I would give the Japanese ink a go on a scrap of material and bung it in the wash next time you put a load on to see if it washes out
