Name: Mackenzie Burrthistle

Age: 33 (apparent age 26, that's when she died.)

Personality: She looks meaner than she really is, but she cultivates a rather fearsome persona so she can keep the kids in line. She likes her job a lot and she likes to bring back successful former student to talk to the current student body. She also supports the student events and attends most school events unless she's 'laid up' somehow.

Mackenzie is very attached to her family and lives two houses over from her parents. Some is for practical reasons. She has to stay close to her family so they can keep her spelled and fix her up. But she is also just close to them. Has two older brothers and a sister and several nieces and nephews (all of whom are learning the spells to keep her going)

When she was alive Mackenzie was very active, socially and politically, but after her death she slowed down a little and focuses on school.

Misses her magic. Misses flying on a broom, and is sad sometimes that she is dead, but she's glad she's not gone. Occasionally moody and depressed but it doesn't last long.
She has a collection of pointy witch hats that she no longer wears, doesn't feel that it's 'right' even though no one would probably mind.

Her favorite clothing brand is Atelier Boz and she has an extensive wardrobe. Dresses up on weekends more than she does for work. Tries to look professional at school.

History: Mackenzie was born a witch to a solid witching family in Nachtwald. She went through Nachtwald's school system and decided to give back/become part of the education system. Went to college and has a degree in School Administration.

Unfortunately she died a few years ago in a magical explosion when one of her spells went wrong. Luckily her family got to her quickly and they were able to resurrect her within a day of her death. As a result she didn't lose a lot of mental capacity. She is a little slower nowadays and humor takes an especially long time to process but give her a minute and she'll get there.

Lost her powers when she died as she's no longer a witch. Her parents, two brothers, and sister use their spells and magic to keep her in good working order. They heal her wounds and fix her when things go wrong.

Likes: Her students, the school, Nachtwald, her family, when everything is going well, school pride and events. Dotes on her nieces and nephews. Likes shopping. Watching movies. Used to read a lot when she was alive but it takes her a long time to read now and she has to take her work home with her so she doesn't have time for it anymore. Just buys tons of DVDS now.

Dislikes: Being a zombie (sometimes), when people don't have patience, she likes to be treated normally, but sometimes people think she's slow. Not being able to eat much, pretty much lives on calf and sheep brains now. Misses desserts, cake, and cookies, and sweets.

Additional Facts: Sometimes hangs around outside pastry shops, chocolate shops, and the ice cream parlor just to smell things. Can't run very fast. Likes to watch people eating dessert (it's a little creepy...) Often wears too much perfume because she's afraid she smells dead even though she doesn't.
