Soldiers created by the Galactic Empire during the tail end of the Republics fall and reformation into the now fascist government. Stormtroopers are the main infantry unit designed to crush entire rebellions in one fell swoop thanks to their overwhelming numbers. Yet just one trooper could also kill an entire town if ordered to. This is because of the surgical augmentations done each trooper to make them just as strong as the previous clone troopers that were the majority of the Galactic Republic arsenal yet phased out of service because of worries that the clones would eventually break out of the control had on them thanks to control chips. Instead, Stormtroopers are created from candidates taken from loyal systems all over the galaxy. Candidates are trained in martial arts and marksmanship before being taken to an Imperial Academy on the planet Kamino to receive academic lessons like Imperial Military History and Basic Medicine. Once such lessons are passed Stormtrooper candidates are given a test, this test will determine how loyal one trooper is to the Empire, and the tasks given is entirely up to the individuals characteristics that are recorded by their drill sergeant. Those who fail the tasks usually end up being handed to the Empires Science division for experiments the Candidates are unlikely to survive. The Stormtrooper surgical augmentations are similar to what young blooded Mandalorian trainees go through with minor differences. First the patients are given Wookiee bone marrow that increases the strength of their bones. Next, the muscles are implanted with mechanical regrowth modules all around the body. Tensing muscles for maximum protection while also giving the correct nutrients needed to maintain the patients strength and stamina while on the battlefield. The eyes and the brain were also enhanced with mechanical parts to improve the users sight and reaction time tenfold, allowing the troopers to process images much faster than a normal human being. Finally, and the most significant body modification was the kill switch module located in their cerebral cortex. Designed to be used as a contingency plan that would prevent any trooper from going rogue by frying their brains. Killing them instantly if any sign of defection is detected.
