Description "Silberfuchs" means silver fox... which is also a black fox, depending on how much whitish fur is in the fox's coat. This armored fellow appears to be thoroughly silver.

This is the result of playing with combining lined and painterly styles... The background is all painterly and lineless, while the character of the knight is lined very slightly, with all of his colors and furs and lighting effects done in painterly style. The longest time was spent getting that fox's face sketch right from my references! (So many fox stocks with the incorrect angle of the head... requires some improv ).

I like this guy. I think I'll keep him. And have afternoon tea with 'im. And serve 'im biscuits. Certain factors imply that he may, in fact, be a badass. I would need a name for him, then. Suggestions heartily considered!

I'll take some practice-type requests of these types of paintings--especially if it's a realistic anthro style y'd like. And Redwall characters. Mostly if they're Redwall characters. Or Argonians. Or... you know what, I feel like painting some medieval anthropomorphic anythings! Cometh at me, brethren!

I have to compliment the realistic appearance of the fox head. You drew it very naturalistic and it does really look like the real animal. The medieval armor also looks nice. A full plate armor with quite a neat amount of familarity. I also see that, fittingly for a fox, he has a slender body build. Considering all this I see a skilled warrior with good reflexes and decent strength. Gotta love foxes. In any case, if you want to go with "Silberfuchs" as a title, I assume a German name would be fitting... though, more an Old German. Hmm, let's see...
-Parsifal is a Variation of Percival, who was a knight of Arthur's Round table.
-Mathis, a variation of Matthew.
-Ingomar, a combination of the name of the god Ing and the term maerr, which means "famous".
I hope any of those names sound good.

Thank you!

I like those names muchly. I've found another odd Germanic name for this guy, "Algenn", but Ingomar sounds like a good name for this guy's famous warrior father.

You are quite welcome.

Algenn sounds pretty good to me, but I am glad that you
found a use for one of the names.
