Indeed, it would be too good an opportunity to ignore. If Marvel are connecting films to TV shows that nobody likes, you'd think it'd be a no-brainer for DC to link films to TV shows which have been smash hits! (or at least Arrow anyway, but I have a feeling Flash will also do well).

I hope not, having connected flims to TV shows sounds good on paper but have you seen how Agents of Shield has turned out? Plus Arrow & Flash are pretty much like Batman and Superman on TV already, so there's really no need to have them show up.

Meh, I disagree. For a start it's probably confusing for some people if there's two different Flashes running around at the same time, plus I wouldn't really compare their relationship to batman and superman. Arrow's similar to batman but the Flash isn't much like superman, he's more like Spider-man. Basically Arrow and Flash are probably the closest to a crossover of Batman and Spider-Man we're going to get.
And the TV shows seem more successful too, so you'd think DC would want to sponge off that success. Plus wouldn't you just love to see an Arrow film? This way we don't need to go through more origin stories on film either.
