What's the door on the starboard side near the Ops station?

I've considered either making it the Head (toilet) or a stairway to deck nine, Believe it or not I actually had to visualize where the Ops and Conn consoles were because I forgot which was which, then again TNG era consoles are re-configurable.

Well, according toΒ this , it looks like you got the Conn & Ops stations correct. On a technical note, I tend to think that the screeching sound in that video is the incredible stresses being placed on the spaceframe from making a 180-degree turn at warp 9+.

Actually I think that the stardrive dropped out of warp when it made the sharp U-Turn.

Even at 0.9 warp and with the extra mass of the saucer and non-essential personnel removed, that's still a huge amount of load being placed on the inertial dampers and structural integrity.
