My next Pokemonth drawing.
Here we have Marina (Crystal) in a bit of a situation with a very touchy Tangela. hehehe.Not sure whether or not she likes it. Hope you all enjoy it, it's not something I normally draw. A couple more drawings to go in Pokemonth. I hope you all enjoy it, and stay tuned for more to come.

I always picture trainers not paying attention and tripping over tangelas. In the process, their foot get stuck in the pokemon much to both of their dismay.

You just don't see too many Crystal drawings nowadays. Fans seem to have forgotten about Crystal, and only seem to be drawing Lyra - I really don't like how Nintendo reused the Gold and Silver sprites for Heart/Soul, but not the Crystal sprite for the girl character. I forget if you take suggestions, but if you do another "Pokemonth", could you please find someway to punish Lyra? 
I'm not a bondage fan, but I like this just because Crystal is in it, and as I said: anything with Crystal is a treat, and it isn't too kinky... For the moment. I hope Tangela doesn't have any naughty thoughts, otherwise I'll have to introduce it to my LV 60 Typhlosion, Pyro.

thank you. I'm glad you enjoy my pic. I do have to say though, I've already done May as well as Hilda (black and white girl) last year. I plan on another pokemonth, but I'd rather choose the girls myself. not so much because i don't like your suggestions, just that I'd rather it not look like a request, which I don't do.

Check. I just wanted to make sure. And maybe "request" was too strong a word - I meant more along the lines of "suggestion". Ah well; it's all cool. I'll just look forward to your picks come Pokemonth, and I'll be hoping Lyra makes the cut.
PS- In my book, you can never have too many May DiD pics. Yes, I dislike her that much.

lol. For me, it's not about the peril... It is about seeing the characters (male or female) get their "just desserts" for doing something that got under my skin. Example: I don't like May because I felt she was a weaker character than Misty, and I hated how she replaced Misty in the show. So I prefer seeing May in peril over Misty, because in a way, it is a private revenge. 
This one just caught my attention because I really like Crystal (from the game and the Pokemon Adventures manga), and I don't see that much of her due to Lyra taking her place. And that is why I hoping Lyra will be invited to Pokemonth.

Why do you have some bizarre grudge against May? Misty was dreadfully boring in Johto and it became time to bring in a new female lead. Misty's been gone for 10 years, isn't it time to get over it?

But if you really must know: I felt that May was a poor replacement for Misty, because where Misty was adventurous, headstrong, and a well defined character, May I thought was annoying, irrational (did you see how she flips out over the loss of food?), and clingy.
Plus, whereas Misty's introduction was fishing Ash and Pikachu out of the river and looking like a strong female character, May panicked over every single Pokemon that even looked her way (she got better about that, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth).
Then there was May's little brother Max - don't get me started on how much I dislike that little snot - but with Max and May joining Ash's traveling crew, it felt like Misty was such a tough act to follow that they had to cast two new characters to take her place.
And then the most annoying thing about May: The fact that every dick around me claimed she was better than Misty, just because May has bigger breasts than Misty. 
I also don't like how people are trying to ship Ash & May together, especially after all the Ash & Misty evidence that occurred during their time together, leading up to "The Power of One" with Misty saying Ash will always have "her." And whatever clues people might have seen of May having feelings towards Ash, I hate to disillusion you but if that did happen then it was an unrequited love scenario because I never saw Ash acknowledge May the same way, so get over it.
Now do you get why I have such a grudge against May? Although, I do admit one positive note about her: In the Battle Frontier, it felt like May actually matured, and developed as a character. However, I actually had stopped watching PKMN midway through Advanced Challenge, and had to go back and watch Battle Frontier after I learned about what happened to James' Chimecco. By that time, I was watching D/P with Dawn on TV, who may not be perfect, and annoying at times as well, but I felt was a breath of fresh air compared to May. So I only found out about May turning into a fairly "okay" character only after she was replaced.
Get it? Got it? Good. Leave me be.

Misty was dreadfully boring over the entire span of Johto, and I don't see how you think she was more adventorous or headstrong than May, makes it sound like you only ever watched a few scattered eps of Hoenn. As for the people shipping or thinking about her breasts, who cares about that? That has nothing to do with how she was in the show.
Where the hell did you get the idea May panicked over Pokemon? The Duskull in her first episode scared her, just like Ash/Misty/Brock were all terrified the first time they saw ghost Pokemon in Kanto. Misty screamed in fear everytime she saw a little bug, and had no real battle skills to back up herself. (If you actually paid attention to Misty's battles, she literally loses almost every battle she's in aside from the ones she has to rely on Psyduck to save her. How are you calling Misty a strong character, when she was fairly bad at battles, and her entire Pokemon team was pathetically weak?
May was actually consistently entertaining throughout Hoenn, and wasn't bogged down holding an egg and being a background character like Misty.

Well I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm just wondering how someone could sit there with a grudge about something that literally happened 10 years ago. Misty left the anime back in 2002/2003....its now 2013. The character has been gone from the anime for an entire decade, I think its about time Misty fans stop acting like she was some driving force of the show. She's only in like 35% of the anime's total episodes now.
Even when Misty actually was a main character, she was treated as a sidekick character in every season she was in, where all the focus went entirely to Ash. In the few episodes Misty actually did anything in she even had to share those with Ash, like the Whirl Cup eps or the battle for Totodile.

To avoid another lengthy explanation (too tired for another one), I'll just give you the short bottom line.
I just like Misty more than May, and I still think she's a better character. I have already given my explanation, and that's all there is to it.
Plus, I'll admit, there is a bit of a personal explanation as well. At around the time of the transition from Master Quest to Advanced, my parents got a divorce, and my father got involved with this other woman who was a b1tch, and her two bratty kids. The first time I saw May was when I visited that woman's house, and had a terrible time with those little twerps being mean to my own siblings.
So it's a matter of personal preference, and some bad memories to boot. Now, can we drop this? I'm tired of this conversation.
