So I got home from work last night and decided to hop on Ye ole Lappy. I scoured DA and found a journal entry by and found that they were having an ID contest and the two submissions they had were..... Yah. So I decided I wanted to enter one of my own and I went a-hunting for a reference picture for a nifty pose.

[link] Is one that I found and the one that I ended up using.

I meant originally to do just the under-sketch in the blue color. XD I was going to sketch it, line it, and actually attempt to COLOR it. But I ended up caught up in the moment and I loved the lighting for some reason and decided to go ahead and color the face.... just to amuse myself. Well one thing lead to another and after coloring the face I decided to put hair on it. XD And then one thing lead to another and before I knew it... it was 8AM and I was halfway through coloring it all!!!

So thats kind of part of how it ended up being BLUE. The other part is that for some reason, rather than black and white, I prefer to do these things in color.... XD

Well it was good practice, I think. I shall go back and see what I can do about lining it and coloring it for that ID thing I was going to do.... doot doot.
