Description
Named after my friend Edd, this is my version of one of his pictures, that he asked me to redesign. It was based on his piece obviously but also kinda influenced by the film "laputa: castle in the sky" which I loved as a kid (and still do probably). No idea how it got to be floating in the sky, but I feel sorry for the health and saftey officers there.And btw, its 1440 by 900 for anyone with a widescreen monitor that size so you can use it as a background.

It's a video game, the ocean disappeared, and all the parts of the world are floating about, it's strange, and awesome, your piece reminded me of it.

ahh I see, theres a few games like that, like skies of Arcardia and books like the edge chronicles. i suppose the whole floating island idea isn't that original even if it is cool.
