I agree. Geno is definitely one of the most overhyped characters in video game history IMO. And people constantly beg for him to appear in nearly every Mario game. It's ridiculous >.>

They just don't give up, do they? They must not understand that nintendo [probably] doesn't have any say (or fucks to give) over the use/rehash of this character. I just hope Geno was taken away the same way Mighty Armadillo was, so that absolutely no one ever has the rights to use him.

Alright, I admit, I wasn't a big fan to see this but, I totally respect your opinion.
I'm sorry if you think I'm a gary-stu, I really am. And I understand that my chances at being in another game are next-to-nothing, but apparently I don't take it near as hard as some people do. I really feel bad for you having to deal with haters, trolls, and obsessors over this, but there's nothing I can do about it.
I actually respect you for going as far as to make a stamp for this, and expressing your opinion without being a total hater, so thanks

FINALLY! Some one agrees with me! I enjoyed super mario RPG, but... People obsess over Geno to the point where they troll other fans of different nintendo characters... and when ever a new smash game comes out? Don't get me started.

They treat it like everyone isn't worthy to be in the same game as geno, that geno could solo beat everyone in smash at the same time, that Geno was the main character of Mario RPG (and go on to call Mario and Mallow minor characters who were just "along for the ride") that they hate certain characters (like Sonic) for "stealing" Geno's spot in the game and blame those characters (again, usually Sonic) for Geno not appearing what so ever. After the smash bros game comes out, they go on and on about how much the game sucks and how they're happy Geno wasn't in it because he's "too good to be in a crappy game like this"

But the worst was when after smash bros Brawl came out and the tsunami of Japan happened, tons of Geno fans gathered around and trolled saying "YEAH! TAKE THAT, JAPAN! THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR EXCLUDING GENO!" or "You made Geno angry, Japan! This is what you deserve!" and "Yeah! Go Geno! Destroy Japan!" pretty much mocking/making fun of all the death and destruction that occurred saying they deserved it because of a stupid video game character...

As much as I love smash trolls, at least you know most of em are kidding, but Geno fans go out of their way to make sure you know they mean business and just seem to be just plain attention hungry gloating egotistic loud mouthed brats.

I'm sorry to go on a long rant here, but it's just a relief to see some one else who doesn't see the big deal with this character... (sad thing is, the news of another smash game coming, it's just a matter of time till I start seeing their posts again)

I'm pretty fucking sure, at this point, that if I took a picture of an abortion, put it on DeviantART, and made the title, "I LOVE TO EAT AND RAPE BABIES!" And then wrote a paragraph in the description talking about my love of baby eating and raping, there would STILL be, no matter how few there were on the page, cretinous, sycophantic comments in the comment section:
"Yeah! I totally agree about eating babies! Great art!"

If I talked about how much I love Hitler, you'd get the same thing:
"Y'know, even though I don't agree with you about Hitler, I can totally see where you're coming from and I think asskissasskissasskissasskiss derpderpderpderpderpderpderp."

I'd like ... JUST ONCE ... to see objections, backlash, and dissenters in the comments. JUST ONCE. I am the only one here, it seems, that will tell people they suck.

I don't get why either. He only had like 5 lines of dialog in the whole game anyway? I don't think anything he said or did warranted all the "HE SHOULD BE IN BRAWL/MARIO KART/ETC!!!" screeching that occurs.

I dunno, in my opinion I betcha he would catch on fire easing coming alive as a wooden doll.

I liked Geno, but I see where you're coming from.

For me, it's the whole idea of a toy coming to life. I always wanted a living toy or something when I was a kid and that just brought back that little wishful thinking.

Weird, but it makes sense to me.
