My friends seem to love my clowns more than me?I gave this guy to a friend of mine a couple of years

know is afraid of clowns in some form or another. And I use acryllics.
Don't get me wrong I love oils and the way they come out but I paint very
unorthodox...Like I will start on the eye first lets say, I will literally
do the whole eye, details and all? I do this I think because of my impatience,
Because Acryllics dry as you paint, and I have alot of bone problems so If I
paint for a long time my hands start to hurt alot! And I am sorry for the "essay"
like reply lol.

Thats interesting that you paint detail by detail. I was always afraid that painting like that would lead to un-unified paintings but your paintings look unified to me. maybe I will try it sometime for acrylics because when i do acrylic i can never make things very detailed or realistic cus it dries so fast, I have to use oil for refined stuff.
And yes I mean horrifying in a good way!!!

Oh it does pose its problems, uneven work, distortion.
And worse of all I always wind up deviating from the plan.
Yeah acryllic is really about the " paint by numbers"
mentality. More of mixing the colors on the pallet than on
the canvas. I have the urge now to try out oils again.
I especially think the challenge would be fun.
And I am not really scared of clowns, but almost everyone
I know is...and yet they prefer my clowns?

Yes, most likely. I guess it is the whole wolf in sheeps clothing
mentality. And yes They seem to be made to make kids happy but in
actuality it almost always has the opposite effect!!!

I too used to have a clown obsession. A friend of mine had me working on a comic with him where the main character was a jester. Comic never went anywhere but the jester must have gone through about a zillion re-models.

My Mother got me a nice set of watercolor pencils and nice thick paper this Christmas. I am hoping to create something nice with them.

Yeah, definately. Actually the highschool I went
to was very liberal and there were alot of openly
gay people there. One of my best friends at the

I know, when I met my friend it was perfect, she liked
art, movies I liked, games...She was also beautifull in my eyes.
I had a feeling it was to good to be true. Then she brought her
girlfriend to school one day hahahhaha I was so jealous of a girl.

Aww I am so sorry. I know that feeling all to well. I have been jealous of men. It is so un-fair. It is hard to find someone who likes the same things. I feel that being opposites is not good for me. I need someone who likes a lot of the same things that I like but has some difference. I have also discovered that being with an artist is very important. I need that stimulation and games a must. I don't play as often as I would like too but when I do I get zoned out on them and only another gamer would understand that.

I agree like 500 prcent. I never understood about
being opposite? I mean I think If I wind up whith a
woman she is opposite enough. Seriously thats about
all the opposite I want, and yes an artist is a must
for me now, I hate having to not be able to do my
art because my "girlfriend" would rather me be
a lawyer or an atm machine lol. Same thing with games,
she doesnt have to even play them as long as she doesnt
think they are "stupid" and enjoys them.

Oh yes yes yes. I am with my opposite and it is so hard to agree on anything or even get along. He doesn't understand the whole, I just got in the mood at 3 am to draw or write. I love that passion about art. How amazing it feels just to look at it, let alone do it. It isn't about who is the best but about how it makes me feel. If the person I am with doesn't get it; well there is really nothing there for us.
