FEAST YOUR EYES ON THIS. THIS. THING.I have worked hard on this one, single, half-body default Miku that I refer to it as "the Miku that killed all other Mikus," now made official as the title for lack of a better one apparently. :_)
This was one of my contest entries to WeLoveFine.com's Vocaloid t-shirt design contest. It started off as a notebook sketch and I worked on it on afternoons/weekends since there's not much happening in school. Still, I had to rush-finish this in order to submit, but it looks decent because I was pretty meticulous. XD I slept at 12:30 AM that day O_O
Now I think I know why most digitalists find it difficult to work on Miku's hair LOL. Just the hair took me 9 different colour swatches 8D
I decided to leave it simple because an elaborate BG might steer away attention from what I worked my butt off on.
I like this style. It was quite inspired by Pullip dolls, and my deep affection for Pullip Miku

Now you know why I don't draw Miku, her hair is a PAIN to color!!! ;3; I've gotta praise your coloring, the overall blending looks really nice and natural~ I also really love her eyes
