Some Warrior Cats / Warriors fan art for y´all!

As you can see, these are Yellowfang and Brokenstar ^^ Gotta say that I kinda dislike them both, despite enjoy reading about them because they are really interesting characters indeed, but Persians are so fun to draw

I also added Yellowfang´s deceased daughters Hopekit and Wishkit and re-designed them because their official creamy-orange/grey designs just aren´t working for me.

According to their German Wiki page Kate Cary imagines them being brown tabbies with green eyes anyway, so there you go.

(Not to mention that I do find it interesting when character designs are revealed, but also kinda annoying when they are only shown on some Wiki page after YEARS but never appear in the actual book. I kinda struggle accepting such designs as canon to be honest. )

Ummm yeah, there´s not much more to say about this piece lol

I gave Hopekit and Wishkit Yellowfang´s flat muzzle and Raggedstar´s amber eyes (because in my headcanon Yellowfang has orange eyes which are way darker and got passed on to Brokenstar). I used different, more reddish shade of brown for Hopekit by the way.

It is supposed to illustrate a part of Yellowfang´s life of course. I still don´t like her all that much, especially not her decision to give up and kill Brokenstar. It seemed kinda cruel to me and went against her own beliefs and the purpose of a mother and a medicine cat. I´m not that fond of grumpy, old characters anyway, though I still kindaaaa like Yellowfang because she gives me those nostalgic first-series-vibes. Brokenstar on the other hand is still an ass and definitely not a likeable character, but it was interesting to read about his character development and behaviour and how he was able to manipulate ShadowClan.

But maybe I just have to read the first series again, it might change my opinion lol (They´re fictional anyway I know)

But regardless of my opinion, I really hope you like this drawing and my designs for Hopekit and Wishkit! :3

And of course this piece was inspired by the Yellowfang MAP "Forest Fires" btw
