Description Alright, so...I started this back in late June-early July and got around to finishing it around early August (I'm a pretty slow painter). I just wanted to do a sort of book cover painting for a dear friend of mine, , because her story and characters are so amazing--plus, she's just a very sweet and thoughtful friend, and I wanted to do something in return.
I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it before; I wanted it to be a surprise. x3 Anyway, here it is! You don't have to use it as a book cover or anything, the idea just sort of took off as I started doing it. I hope you like it! Also, dA over-saturates submissions and sometimes lowers the quality, so I'm sorry if it looks noisy or garish! I have the full-sized copy I can send you, Li33i !

Oh my gosh, I don't even know what to say!!! This is literally SO sweet of you to take the time to do when I'm sure you're pretty busy with other stuff too. I'm really touched!! By the way, you totally got her!! It's so great when someone other than yourself can draw your character in their own style and still nail their features the way you have! And OH MY GOSH, you literally did her hair better than I do it >< wtf...I'm gonna start drawing it like that now. You totally got her thick brows, unexaggerated eyes, nose shape, & mouth! Literally I'm so impressed that you got her mouth and everything so well. I've only just started to try to differentiate her more (I get a lot of comments from people wondering if she and Mrs. Daggett are the same character) by doing stuff like drawing her brows thicker and stuff, so I'm really surprised you picked up on that so quickly! My stuff is usually so flat and I wish I could paint like this the shading and everything is so great! I'll have to work on it!
Anyways, hugs, and you are literally the best person ever right now. Please keep writing and keep believing in your art and writing! They are both so creative, compelling, mysterious, & unique!  I wish I could fav this like 100 times!! Also I'm so gonna use this as my book cover. At least on this draft! Or maybe I'll put this one in the beginning and my other one later on, like halfway through, and have a Part 2 or something. Or vice-versa!

I'm so glad that you like it! You really deserve it, and it was such fun to paint. I'm so happy I got her features right, too! I happened to take a recording/livestream of part of my painting process during this art, if you're ever interested in seeing it! But dang, I dunno why people would mistake Mrs. Daggett for Amelia; they don't look the same to me! And I'd be honored if it was your cover. And thank you so much for your faith in my art and writing! It means so much because you're so very talented.

YEEESSSSSSSSS I love speedpaints!!! And thank you--I know, right? Their hair colors and everything are different! Plus I keep telling people she has that birthmark and Amelia doesn't. And no problem at all

I'll work on compiling speedpaint for you sometime then! It might take awhile, since I'm starting college tomorrow. But I'll try to make it happen.
And yeah I honestly have never mistaken Mrs. Daggett for Amelia; not once!

This is very lovely, honey. I am certain she will treasure it. I do believe the dress lace detail and hair are my favorite creative parts to this particular piece, but the entire thing is wonderful, truly.

Thank you so very much; your comments are always very appreciated! I was feeling a bit iffy about the lace and the hair (I had to start it over multiple times to get it right) but seeing your reassurance lifts my spirits.
