Here's Honey the Cat from the Sonic franchise! There's not much about her, apart from being a fashion designer, who is cheery and full of spirit, and having Amy Rose as her fan. She would also appear in Archie Comics. Speaking of Amy. In the comics, her dress is based on Honey's dress, part of the Dream-Casters fashion line. It's a reference to the Sega Dreamcast, and Its American Launch title, Sonic Adventure.

Masahiro Sugiyama was Honey's original designer. He's also the character designer for the Fighting Vipers and Sonic the Fighters arcade games. Honey the Cat was inspired by the character Honey, (known as Candy in the US) from Fighting Vipers. Honey the Cat was put in the game by her original designer as a test character. She was scrapped initially in the final version, but her data still exists in the files. And thanks to hacking, she's playable in the game when it became part of the Sonic Gems Collection, with some glitches. And in 2012, she became an official fighter in the digital high-definition port for the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360.
