Settling softly gently lightly,
Onto a pillow of… cloud?
No that’s sky.
And the light, shining bright in my eyes. The sun.
No it’s the colour yellow, so bright beneath my eyelids.
And ripping.
The sky is ripping?
Along the seams?
No. The sky is ripping into night, into darkness.
And now there is no yellow in my eyes, no sky to settle on, only darkness.
