Description The Town of Homecroft is located immediately south of Centralia in northern Epler County. HFD is a career department that consists of 5 stations and over 150 personnel. HFD provides Fire, Rescue, Extrication, Hazmat, and Advanced Life Support Transport services to 120,000 residents in the town of Homecroft and unincorporated Mills Township. Station 1 is located on the northwest side of Homecroft and protects a largely Industrial and commercial area in addition to a large portion of Interstate. Station 1 is staffed with 6 personnel and is home to Aerial 11, Medic 11, Hazmat 11, and Hazmat 11-2. All members assigned to station 1 are hazmat technicians and respond to all hazmat calls in Epler county

Aerial 11: (1500gpm/400gal) Aerial 11 responded as a first out engine in addition to being a truck company for the north and west sides of the district. 

Medic 11: Medic 11 responds to all EMS calls in station 1s district. It also responds into portions of station 3s district. 

Hazmat 11: Hazmat 11 responds to all hazmat calls in Homecroft. HM11 is equipped with monitoring and identification equipment. HM11 also carries level A PPE and Hydrocarbon mitigation equipment. Hazmat 11 is cross staffed by aerial 11. 

Hazmat 11-2: Hazmat 11-2 serves as a bulk transport unit for hazmat equipment for large hazmat incidents. Hazmat 11-2 is equipped with mass and technical decon equipment and bulk mitigation tools. Hazmat 11-2 responds to large hazmat incidents. If Hazmat 11 responds to a call and Hazmat 11-2 is needed, HFD Engine 13 responds to station 11 to pick up hazmat 11-2.
