Why do I wear this antler around my neck? Well let's just say it's a memory for the day that I realized how broken this world is.

So I was feeling in the mood to draw some Fallout themed work, so why not the blue deer? I even came up with a little mini backstory for her in the Fallout: Equestria universe:

They often call me the Cerulean Saddle, though in truth I just go by Spirit. I was an acting diplomat for the deer- part time Jazz Singer in my spare time. My job was relatively simple, extend a friendly hoof towards the main societal organization near our borders. However, our trip was interrupted by a series of... Unfortunate events.

During our travels towards the newly built city, we were pinned by some so-called "Raiders," killing my entire entourage and nearly killing myself. It was down to me and two of the raiders. My revolver was nearly out, I managed to lay a hit on one of the raiders, however her "friend" ended up pinning me and knocking me down. The raider took an axe, cutting my antlers down to the base, leaving two bloody stumps. While the nerves in the antlers were dead, the axe managed to cut into the base, splitting the root. What made it worse was the fact that that raider took something... Something hot, and began to cauterize the stumps- preventing any chance of the antlers growing back.

My memory is slightly blurred from this point, after the adrenaline kicked in I managed to get the brute off of me, using one of my recently severed antlers and shoving it into his throat. To my luck, my magic still worked, though the pain was excruciating. I picked up my antlers, wandering for a short while before passing out under an underpass.

To my luck, I was found by some soldiers from the friendly establishment I mentioned earlier. They provided me medical care, and soon I was returned to a certain level of normality. I decided to take up singing full time, recording covers and original songs for the radio broadcast located in the establishment. Despite being healthy, my encounter had left me mangled, with two disgusting lumps on my head where my white crown once sat. From that day I've kept my scars hidden, with one exception. I attached one antler to my rifle, using it as a primitive bayonet- though it's primarily for customization.

The second antler... My right antler which I used to kill the raider sits around my neck, tied by a piece of leather. It is both a reminder to myself and anyone who decides to cross me that I will no longer back down in a fight, especially one that threatens innocent life.
