"Lionpaw ignored her.
“I love snowy days,” he murmured, staring into the trees. “Everything looks so clean and bright.”
“You love everything,” Bluepaw growled, letting her bad temper flow freely as she slid off the root and sunk into the deep drift below. It was freezing, but it was better than listening to Lionpaw.
He was always cheerful!"

"Но Львинолап пропустил ее слова мимо ушей.
— А мне нравится снег, — сообщил он, заворожено глядя на деревья. — Все выглядит таким чистеньким и красивым!
— Да тебе все нравится, — проворчала Синелапка, давая волю дурному настроению.
Спрыгнув с корня, она плюхнулась в глубокий сугроб. Холодно, конечно, но все равно лучше, чем слушать болтовню Львинолапа!

Вообще эта книга хорошая еще и тем, что позволяет увидеть старых героев малыми котятами. Как они балуются и озорничают, совершают забавные поступки. Вот конкретно очень понравился Львинолап, будущий Львиногрив (или Львиное Сердце, как мне больше нравится). В детстве он был такой веселый, забавный. Честный и преданный. Он не выдал секрет Острозвезда.
Да и вообще отношения всех этих героев в детстве очень радуют. В будущем они станут заклятыми врагами или верными друзьями, вплоть до, как здесь, глашатая и предводителя племени. А пока они дружат, резвятся и решают какие-то "глобальные" проблемы, которые в будущем заставят лишь посмеяться
Еще это напоминает, если кто видел, мультсериал "Детки Джунглей", про героев диснеевского мультика "Книга Джунглей", когда они были детьми.

Bluestar is the best. Everybody loves Firestar, but he's such a mary-sue. Glad you focused on a character that has some cons c;

super late but
I like firestar and understand why others would too, you get an attachment to a character you see through for six or more books, though he does tend to be a mary-sue, it's likely out of a more naivety about certain things, since he does have several flaws, lmao
as for bluestar, everyone shits on her for losing her mind, but her reasoning is entirely understandable if you look at it right, which gives me a love for her as well, just as great as my love for firestar.
the thing about it is that we get to see firestar grow from a little six moon old shit kittypet to a leader, get to see him through the eyes of others both admiring and envious or hateful and it gives us more of a look at him because to be entirely honest, he was the start and the end of everything we knew warriors to be, we learned about the clans through his eyes and learned his views on it all, we wondered the same things about the code as he did and all of these other things and never once did I look at him and go "goddamnit I want another cat as main character right this moment" because I liked how the books were, they were actually pretty good, when I looked at the world of warriors I was simply in love with it, as it's rather addicting, but when I looked at bluestar, I respected her as a leader just as he did, she was like a mentor to everyone reading the books and always seemed wise, until she broke and just kinda let her character die, in an understandable way, though, and then at the ravine just kinda was the thing we had come to know her as, which I'm certain made a few other readers cry XD
regardless, it's not likely you'll see this, but I do think this is why me and other people are attached to firestar, it's because we saw through his eyes and knew only his thoughts at the start of the series.

Im a little late getting around to commenting, but this is such a perfect rendition of both of their personalities. XD That snow is fantastic too, love how you've shaded around Bluefur's legs and up onto the tree.
