Обои для юбилейного журнала КВЗЗ. На тему "Четвертый Оруженосец". Планировалось сделать обои для нескольких расширений экрана, но времени не хватило. Не успел. Да и не рассчитал, не получилось бы несколько вариантов сделать...Но ладно, давайте лучше о самом рисунке. Сверху, как вы понимаете, новое Трио - Воробей, Львиносвет и Голубичка (Голубка). Снизу слева направо: коричневый Когтегрив, тёмный полосатый Чешуйник (Запал мне в душу...), палевая Осока, серенькая Голубичка и золотистый Львиносвет. Перед ними, естессно, бобры. Назовём их Стивен, Майкл и Бобби. Самих бобров я рисовать не умел и учиться было некогда, поэтому я их практически обрисовал. Почему практически? Вы никогда не найдёте скалящихся бобров в таких позах. Особенно стоячего. Я склеивал разные фото, чтобы он стоял, а не сидел. На голову накладывал бобровый череп, чтобы знать где выглядывают зубы и какой они длины. Сам заставлял их скалиться. В общем работка не простая, но интересная. Теперь фон... О Боже, как долго я возился с ним! С этой плотиной! Она задумывалась немного иной. И фон, кстати, тоже. Но времени не хватало, и я тупо поставил обои. Хотя долго искал подходящую картинку. Березы я делал сам, кусты тоже. А вот дерево справа - фотошопное... стыдно. Любите бобров!
"The Fourth Apprentice". From above, as you understand, a new Trio - Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Dovepaw. From below from left to right: brown Tigerheart, dark striped Rippletail (Fused to me in soul...) A pale-yellow Sedgewhisker , greyish Dovepaw and golden Lionblaze. Before them, there are the beavers. Let's name them Stephen, Michael and Bobbi. I wasn't able to draw beavers and there was no time to study, therefore I have practically depicted them. Why practically? You will never find shown beavers in such poses. Especially standing. I stuck together different photos that it stood, instead of sat. On a head imposed beaver a skull that the nobility where teeth and what they looks out lengths. I forced them by myself to be shown. In general work was not simple. But interesting. Now a background... Oh,My God how long I pottered with it! With this dam! She reflected a little different. And a background, by the way, too. But time didn't suffice, and I just have put wallpaper. I was searched for a long time for a suitable picture. I did birches myself, bushes too. And the tree on the right - from photoshop... It is a shame. Love beavers!

This is a great picture. I love the semi-realness of these cats.
But Dovepaw/wing has blue eyes. I suppose you didn't know that when drawing this though.

Maybe. They are said to be gold in TFA,and green on the cover, but in FE, NW, TFW, TLH, the wiki and the allegianses they are described as blue.

Люблю я Ваш фанарт по КВ. Анатомия, цвета, фон и сцена... Всё как всегда превосходно! А взгляды у Голубички, Воробья и Львиносвета такие разные - в каждом из них сразу видно характер. Думаю, даже если бы я не читала КВ, я бы всё равно всё поняла. )))

Beautifully done. It's refreshing to see a full composition from the book that has the simple realism (but still captures each character). The proportions between the cats and beavers is great, and the lower lionblaze is one of the best representations I've seen of him. The texture of the wood and brush is beautiful too. Keep up the illustrations!
I found this book really predictable and boring, but you gave it a strength.

It is Dovepaw. Because there were three other apprentices made already (Briarpaw, Bumblepaw and Blossompaw) and then Dovepaw was made an apprentice before Ivypaw, making Dovepaw the Fourth apprentice created. And then Ivypaw was the fifth apprentice.
