....do I win the dork award? These look better in person.I know they're nothing amazing or anything, but they were fun to make and that's what counts, right? I'll probably do more, though I don't know if I'll post them. In fact I did do more already, but no other fanart ones yet. I am planning on doing Booster, I have him all sketched out and ready to go.
I know I went outside the lines. Give me a break, I don't use paint much. And these are really small.
Mira's sketch was done fast, I really just wanted to paint her eyes xD
XR was a sketch from my sketchbook that had a story to it but it was random. Ooh, look, he's talking to someone. He wasn't even on Trade World.
Mira's hair is cracking because I used the wrong kind of paint.

Nice. Personally, I prefer the slicker look of digital, but it's always cool to see what you can make with your own hands.

I used acrylic paints that I bought at Michael's for about $1.50-2.00 each. Except on Mira's hair I accedentally used glossy paint; bad idea, it's doesn't work.

Making animation cels takes practice. I taught myself to ink on acetate with a quill pen and paint on the back with acrylic paint. Though nowadays it's all done digitally.

Yeah... it's kind of a shame, because part of the art is lost. But I guess animation is an industry so they do whatever is most efficient.
