BTW, still i'am a bit terrified seeing that statue for long time no play. Mass Effect still a Great RPG cause over 4 years, I'm still curious with Prothean Vision plus with Collector's there.

I figure they look like Illithids.

I always looked at those statues to figure out how they could live, but I realized that style may be the Prothean's "Mannerism" where proportions are ignored and use elongated figures. So unless there is a Prothean colony in the citadel, we will never truly know how they functioned or how they really looked like.

Brilliant shading and such. The statues always give me the chills whenever I walked past them...it's as if they are watching...all the time...

it allways made me smirk when all the aliens talk about the greatness of the protheans and a human is the one who manages to activate one of their beacons

Would be cool if we were able to see what the Protheans looked like in ME3.

They all dead. Even Collectors.
I think it must remain a mystery for us.

well, biowares fulfilled your dream about live prothean.

In ME 1, it was said that a small team of scientists were the ones who made the tech that retook control of the citadel, and were left there. In ME 2, it was confirmed by EDI that collectors were originally protheans. It then made it possible that protheans could still exist. It was never my 'dream', only facts provided by Bioware in the story.

one comment ago you agreed with me about "They all dead. Even Collectors". and now you say "it wasn't a dream".

i don't want to live on this planet anymore.

p.s. it's not a "facts provided by Bioware", it's fan service.

Great drawing, the statues are very eerie and it makes me wonder how the Protheans would move and talk in life.
We shall never know

Nice, those statues are very creepy. I thought the proteans looked like the statues and not gaint bugs.
