Oh, man. I love this drawing.. one of my personal favorites!I had a picture of a lion that I was going to draw, but as I looked closer the thing that really caught my attention was the eye. So instead, I decided to draw this.. just a close-up of the eye itself. I love how it turned out.. I think that it captures the beauty and grace of a lion, but also it's power and untamed essence.
Done in colored pencil.

Sorry I missed this WONDERFUL picture, I love the emotion I get from the eye. Just from the eye. I think you did a wonderful job portraying the power and beauty just by drawing this eye. I would like to ask though, was it a male or female lion? It's VERY beautiful!! (I think that it's a male) but I'm VERY sorry I missed commenting on this sooner. Well, I believe I'm going to put you on watch to see what all you create, and because I REALLY like this picture. I'm going to go view your page. I LOOOOVE IT! GRREAAAT JOB!

Now this is absolutely beautiful. It's so amazing that this is all colored pencil. I certainly could not have the patience to draw and color something of this magnitude. I hope you're as proud of this as I would be! An instant fave.

Yeah, this one took a lot of time (not to mention patience) but I like the way that it turned out! It was actually a lot of fun to do, and I think that I may try some more like this in the future. ^^ Thanks for the comment, and the fav!!
