Hey guys, another list based on Wild Kratts or this time a ranking here is the previous one, www.deviantart.com/splashtrave… . If you look into my account enough, you will see that I am a big fan of Wild Kratts and think it is an amazing cartoon. I would give it a 9/10, still have some problems.

Anyways this list is more of a ranking of Wild Kratts characters I like the least to my favourite characters. Since there are really few recurring characters; just 11 with two of them being brothers (not including the kids, the Zachbots or the Mannequins, since they don’t have much personality). As well as the show focusing more on animals and nature. I managed to turn a Top 10 meme into a ranking list of each Wild Kratts character, 6 of them villains, 5 of them heroes, as well as colouring it in. Also similar with the Loud Siblings Ranking Meme, I’m dividing my rankings. So anyways let's start.

Neutral: (Characters I have mixed feelings about.)

10. Paisley Paver
My least favourite character/villain (tied with Rex), who unlike the others debuted in season 4 instead of 1. Paisley Paver is a businesswoman that wants to pave nature to build construction. That’s practically it and hating nature. She is just bland and annoying. I am neutral towards her rather than dislike her from: doing a good job on showing the issue with companies building over nature, being a new and great challenging threat towards the Wild Kratts crew and her orderly personality when contrasted with the other villains is neat to see.

9. Rex
Also debuted in season 4, Rex is Paisley’s henchman who helps her pave over nature. He is pretty bland and like with Paisley I don’t like him. But unlike her, he doesn’t annoy me much. He is actually tied with Paisley as my least favourite character, but I want to fill all 10 spots. The good things about him are similar to Paisley.

Like: (Characters I like for being either funny, likeable, serve their roles well, etc).

8. Donita Donata
Similar to Cruella De Ville in wanting to use animals as fashion and clothes, except she mostly uses a pose beam where she paralyses live animals. It's Donita Donata who is a fun villain who can be funny, threatening, the designs of her jet and plane look great and her clothing ideas actually look neat (not that I support the animals being used in them). She is not higher for not having that much personality beyond that and the other characters being better.

7. Dabio
Similar to Kronk, except he doesn’t reform, it's Dabio who is Donita’s henchmen who is her muscle. He is also pretty dumb, which makes him hilarious with either his lines or actions. As well as despite being a villain he is actually nice. That’s pretty much all I could say, which is why he is not higher.

6. Koki
The first member of the Wild Kratts team and hero here is Koki. She is a sassy black woman who is a mechanical engineer and manages the computer system. I like Koki for her sassy, orderly and stern attitude who helps the crew with their missions. While also having her own character flaws that she overcomes.

5. Chef Gaston Gourmand
Unlike the other villains, Gourmand is actually knowledgeable about animals and is skilled in the outdoors, which is an excellent contrast compared to the other villains. This chef wants to cook and serve rare, endangered or not animals into dishes. He is both funny for instance sniffing like a dog and can be a tough opponent to beat where he knows how to fight back. His fold out restaurant inside his truck, jet and boat is also cool.

4. Jimmy Z
The pilot of the tortuga and the one who sends items and the Creature Power Discs to the Kratts. Jimmy Z is a likeable character for his chill attitude, his love for video games and his controller being cool. Funny when used in slapstick, like being swallowed by a mechanical eye in, “Googly Eye The Night Guru.” Being helpful to the crew and his flaws that he overcomes like in “Sea Otter Swim,” with swimming.

Love: (Characters I love who have great personalities.)

3. Zach Varmitech
Behold my favourite villain from the show. Zach is a robotics inventor who turns animals into robots or tries to steal Aviva’s inventions. Reasons for why I love him are that unlike the other villains, his plans can vary. He has a history with the Kratts and Aviva which is interesting. He can be a tough villain who can even outsmart the Wild Kratts crew. Being hilarious, whether he is in slapstick or his dialogue; for instance “Mommy…GET IT OFF! Its icky feet are scratchy!” from “Flight of the Dracos.” Zach has the most personality out of all of the villains on the show. Zach is overall a hilarious cartoon villain who is a great opponent against the Wild Kratts crew.

2. Aviva Corcovado
My favourite female character on the show. Aviva is an inventing engineer who has built the inventions that the Wild Kratts crew use. Reasons I love her is her beautiful design, providing the most help with her inventions like the Creature Power suits. Great personality, being a genius who is normally kind and helpful, but having plenty of flaws like her competitive nature, arrogance, overconfidence, etc but still remaining likeable. Her other inventions being really cool like the miniaturizer, Tortuga, etc. Overall Aviva is a likeable genius who has built important inventions for the Kratt bros, having plenty of flaws, but still remaining likeable.

Favourites

1. Chris and Martin Kratt
Last but not least my favourite characters on Wild Kratts are a tie with the Kratt brothers; Chris and Martin Kratt who are real life people (as shown in the beginning and ending of each episode), I’m only going to talk about their cartoon counterparts, for why both of the Kratts are favourites of mine.

Chris Kratt is the climbing brother with his signature colour being green. I love him for being the more calm and organised brother who takes time to study animals. He has more to him, like showing his more mischievous side when he is exploring animals or having fun. Martin is the swimming brother with his signature colour being blue. I love him for being the more goofy and comedic brother who likes to have fun with the animals they meet. Despite that he still knows when to get serious like having to rescue animals or the crew. Overall both Chris and Martin are my faves for being based on their real life counterparts who are just as enthusiastic about animals and nature as they are. As well as their love and chemistry with each other. Being funny, knowledgeable about animals and nature, having flaws like being mischievous and they are helpful and caring, whether it's rescuing animals or the crew.

So there you have it my “Ranking Wild Kratts Characters” list from the ones I am just neutral to (Paisley, Rex), ones I like (Donita, Dabio, Koki, Gourmand, Jimmy Z), ones I love (Zach, Aviva) and my favourites (Chris, Martin). Wild Kratts has a pretty minimalist main cast, well the other characters include the Wild Kratts kids (I am neutral towards them), the Zachbots (I like them), Donita’s mannequins (neutral) and the animals (they’re okay).

It feels great to do another list based on Wild Kratts, from the one I did about a year ago. Also next week, new episodes from a new season are going to come about. After about 2 years of hiatus, I am happy and plan to watch them.
