Description Duckburg... you are not prepared for this. To be honest, for me there's only one jester hiding in the sewers who's able to give me the creeps.

Here it is - my little tribute to "It".

Actually... It's St.Canard, but I can overlook it, because this is a brilliant idea if there were to actually be a reboot of Darkwing Duck.

Quackerjack making his first entrance in the show by appearing from the sewer like this.

By the way, what should his plot be? It must not be something dark as well, since this is for kids.

Hmmmm... Maybe the balloons lifts the kids up & hovers them off to a hidden factory in the city where the kidnapped children makes toys?

No wait, that has already been made... crap.

Thank you. Well, actually this was meant to take place in Duckburg as a tribute to the new Duck Tales-series, in which Darkwing had a short cameo. St. Canard is used to this jester... Duckburg, however, has never seen the likes of him.

So I saw the episode of him making the cameo.

BUT... Did Disney actually reveal that... IF... they were to make the reboot, it would end up in Duckburg?

Oh no... I don't think so. I guess what we saw of DW on the new Duck Tales show is all we get. No DWD reboot as far as I know.

I know, right?! It only occurred to me when I watched "Toys Czar Us" with my hubby for the first time - he had just introduced me to the classic "IT"-films and the scales fell from my eyes... DWD is even greater than I thought. Thank you so much for your kind words!

Ooooh my god this is so perfect! I kinda can't believe I never had this thought honestly That creeper look on Quackerjack is just so amazing and I just can't get enough of it. I also really love your water effect too. There's just something pretty about it that I love :3

Oh man, this reminds me of the episode where Quackerjack actually offers a bunch of kids at a pageant toys and forces them into slave labor to pay for the toys he offered them. Its a great episode, and he was going to execute Gosalym by toy soldier firing squad. It was a great QJ ep! (Its the one where she's playing a fairy in a play because her dad has quit crimefighting to become a perfect parent)

Yepp, that's the episode "Toys Czar Us". After watching "It" for the first time, I realised that this episode was probably a parody of that film.

Your welcome!

haha, true! Hell, I wouldn’t mind floating in the sewers with the crazed toy maker.

Wait a second, now that I think about it... In Toys Czar Us, wasn’t Quackerjack actually located in the sewers? (Or at least, somewhere under the city and he even brought Gos and some of her friends down there) so....

SplatterPhoenix In reply to Jokesterrzero [2017-11-20 21:50:45 +0000 UTC]

Yes, he was living in the sewers. That was actually the episode that gave my hubby the idea for this picture (he's a huge "It"-fan, so this had to happen... xD). And I HAD to draw it.

Awesome Concept!

I've got an innate fear of clowns. Thus, Quackerjack has always been the most creepy DW-villain for me. And that makes him even worse than Pennywise in my eyes.

SplatterPhoenix In reply to ToonTorment [2017-11-16 17:38:46 +0000 UTC]

I went for QJ because his outfit is close to Pennywise's. Aaaaand... because Paddywhack simply looks too scary to begin with.

ToonTorment In reply to SplatterPhoenix [2017-11-16 22:09:04 +0000 UTC]

Ah.

That's true.  In hindsight, I wonder if Paddywhack was always intended to be a parody of Pennywise?

BeecroftA In reply to ToonTorment [2017-11-17 10:07:44 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes.  That novel was very popular at the time, and the IT miniseries with Tim Curry came out while Darkwing Duck was in production.
